Frank P. Marenis, Wilson High Teacher
Frank Phillip Martenis, 71, of 1819 Caracare Drive, New Bern, N.C. died Tuesday, Nov 26, in Craven Regional Medical Center.

He was a teacher and guidence councelor at Wilson Area High School for 38 years. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State Educators Association and a life member of the National Educators Association.

He graduated from Wilson High School in 1943 and served in the marine Corps from July 1, 1943, to Oct 15, 1948. He was a graduate of Penn State Univesity, Easton Stroudsburg University and Lehigh University.

He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in New Bern.

He was a 32nd degree Mason, a life member of St. John's Masonic Lodge 3 in New Bern and the new Bern Scottish Rite Bodies.

Sruviving are his wife, the former Charlotte Vincent; two sons, and daughter,and seven grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Christ Episcopal Church in New Bern. Masonic rites will take place at 11 a.m. Friday in Pollock-Wells & Best Fuenral Home Chapel in New Bern. The family will receive friends at their home.
