Lynwood J. Matthews
Lynwood J. Matthews, 45, of 67 Williams Lane, Hatboro, N.J.,
died Friday in his home.
A resident of Hatboro since 1945, he was the son of the late
Clarence E. Matthews and Flossie Matthews, formerly of Northampton
county.
He was a buyer for the Fisher and Porter co., Warminster.
A member of the administrative board or the Lehman Methodist
Church, Hatboro, he served as church historian and Sunday school
t4eacher. He was a member of the board of directors of the
Credit at Fisher and Porter, Co., and a past president of the
Employees Recreation Association. He was a treasurer of the
Hatters for Music group and a committee chairman for boy7 Scout
Troup 81, Hatboro. He was also a member of the National Purchasing
Association and the Foundrymen’s Association of America.
Surviving are his widow, Esther B. Matthews, and a son,
at home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lehman Methodist
Church, Hatboro. Interment will be in Hatboro Cemetery. Arrangements
are in charge of the Baskwill funeral Home, Hatboro. |
