Mrs. Stanley Otto Watters
Mrs. Verna P. Watters, 78, of 1814 Freemansburg Ave., Wilson, died last night in Easton Hospital where she had been admitted Thursday.

Born Dec 15, 1898, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Ida Rice McKee.

She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Easton, its Women's Guild and Lady Esther Circle and Quilters. She was the Queen of Dames of Malta Lodge 262.

Her husband, Stanley Otto Watters, died in 1972.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Charles Higgins of Las Cruces, N.M.; Mrs. James Smith of Raleigh, N.C.; Mrs. Richard Aldinger of Palmer Township, and Mrs. Donald Kerbaugh of Wilson; three sons, Richard of Williams Township; Stanley P. of Palmer Township, and William of Bloomingdale, N.J.; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Jennie Siglinger, died in 1944.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the STrunk Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in South Easton Cemetery.
