Richard U. "Bing" Miller, 75, of Wilson died Saturday, Aug. 2, in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township.
He was employed by J.T. Baker Chemical Co., Phillipsburg, for 38 years before retiring in 1986.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Arch and Charlotte (Unangst) Miller.
A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Rice Ebner American Legion Post 588, Easton.
He was a life member of the Liberty and Citizens hose companies and the Order of the Fleas, all of Easton, and the Athletic Association and Safety First Volunteer Fire Company, both in West Easton.
Survivors: Son, **** of Wilson; brother, James of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; stepdaughters, Janice Ackerman of Naugatuck, Conn., and Patricia Murphy of Bethany, Conn., and two grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Monday. |
