Gertrude E. Hess
Belvidere - Gertrude E. Hess, 91, formerly of the 100 block
of Forth Street in Belvidere, died Sunday at Warren Haven,
where she resided since 1983.
Born May 15, 1901, in Belvidere she was a daughter of the
late Josiah and Mary K. Rockefeller Moser.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Belvidere.
Her husband, Jacob W. Hess, died Aug. 2, 1974.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Speck of Belvidere and Joyce
Riddle of White Township; a son Carl J. Sr., of Belvidere;
nine grandchildren and six great-granchildren.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of
the family.
The MacFadden Funeral Home in Belvidere is in charge of arrangements.
