Mrs. Franklin Kiefer, Was Active Clubwoman
Mrs. Rosa Moser Kiefer, 79, an active clubwomen for many years, died yesterday at 6:10 p.m. in Easton Hospital, after an illness of three months. She was admitted on Feb. 16.
Mrs. Kiefer, whose home was at 2402 Forest St. was the widow of Franklin A Kiefer.
Born in Williams Township, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Susan Nolf Moser. She was a lifelong resident and Easton and vicinity.
Mrs. Kiefer was a member and past protector of Easton sisterhood 171, Dames of Malta, and a member of the Protectors Club of that organization.
She also was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, New Williams, Williams Township, and the All-Age sewing Circle of the Church; the South Easton Women's Democratic Club; Northampton County Council of Democratic and the Women's Democratic Club of Easton and Vicinity.
Surviving are a son, Robert F Kiefer, with whom she resided, and two grandsons. |
