Arlington S. Moyer, 89, of Wescosville, formerly of Emmaus, died April 26, 2005 in Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Township. He was the widower of the late Helen E. (Kuhns) Moyer.

Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Arlington C. and Elizabeth K. (Schuler) Moyer. He worked for 44 years for Mack Trucks Inc. retiring in 1977 as vice president and manager of operations. He was instrumental in the setup and building of the Macungie plant.

He was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Emmaus. He was a member of Emmaus Masonic Lodge 792. He served as the president of the East Penn School District board of education and was president of Lehigh County board of education, chairman of the United Fund Drive, served on the board of trustees to Lehigh County Community College, was vice president of the Allentown Lehigh County Chamber of Commerce and was a past member of the Emmaus Lions Club.

Survivors: Daughters, Mary Jane, wife of Edward Brown,of Emmaus, ****, wife of *****, of Wescosville and *****, wife of ******, of Bethlehem; brother, Ernest Moyer of Fullerton; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2005 in St. Johns U.C.C., 139 N. Fourth Street, Emmaus. Viewing from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005 in the Schantz Funeral Home Inc., 250 Main Street, Emmaus, and 10-11 a.m. Friday in the church. Entombment in Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
