Robert W. Myers Sr., World War II Veteran
Robert W. Myers, Sr., 80, of Palmer Township, formerly of Forks Township, died Monday, may 22, in Gracedale, the Northampton County nursing home in Upper Nazareth Township.

He worked at American Can Co. in Wilson for 25 years before retiring. Before that he worked at the former General Aniline and Film Co. in Easton for 10 years.

Born Dec 2, 1919, in Easton, he was a son of the late Elmer and Anna Sampson Myers.

He was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Easton.

He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a life member of the Order of the Fleas and Citizens Hose Company, both in Easton.

He was a graduate of Easton High School and a 1937 graduate of Churchman’s Business School in Easton.

He and his wife, the former Dorothy Keck, observed their 53rd Wedding anniversary June 27.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, **** and ****., both o Easton, a brother, Paul E. of Clearwater, Fla.; a sister, ***** of Cherry Hill, N.J.; and four grandsons.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Struck Funeral Home, 602 Berwick St., Easton. Call from 10 a.m. Wednesday to the time of services in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township.
