Richard K. Nolf
Richard K. “Dick” Nolf, 79, who resided at the Richmond Hotel, Bangor died Saturday December 13, 2003 in Gracedale, Northampton County Nursing home, in Upper Nazareth Township.
Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Harold and Jessie Kroesen Nolf.
Personal: he was a Chief Aerographics Mate for the U.S. navy, serving from 1942,-62. Most of his military career was on the USS Bougainville. Upon discharge he worked for the civil services as a meteorologist at the Rochester N.Y. airport. H late worked fat Foster Wheeler Corp. and from 1973 until his retirement n 1986, he was the manger of Pulcini’s Tavern, Martin’s Creek, pa. He was a 1942 graduate of Easton High School.
Memberships: Fleet Reserve Association and the Gile E. Bray Post VFW, Bangor.
Survivors; A son, ****, four daughters, *****, of Easton, ****, of Nazareth, ****, of Bethlehem, and ****, of Moira, N.Y.; a brother, ******, Wilson Borough; a sister, *****, of Upper Mt. Bethel; then grandchildren; four step grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and seven step great grandchildren.
Services: Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the James J. Palmeri Funeral Home, Route 611 and Alpha Ave., Martin’s Creek, Pa.
