Ira G. Paulus Sr.
Ira G.S. Paulus Sr. of 828 Main St., died this morning in ST. Luke's
Hospital. He was born in Bethlehem Township July 4, 1886, son of
the late Tilghman and Emma (Schmidt) Paulus. He was a member of
Ebenezer Mennonite Church. He was employed by the Bethlehem Steel
Co. in the No. 8 Machine Shop. His wife, Lottie (Erich) Paulus
died in March 1955.
Survivors include 12 sons, Auston, Ralph, Carno, Braden, Marvin,
Robert, Fred, Ira, Jr., Sterling, Carl and Harold, all of Bethlehem
and Donald of Cleveland, O.; four daughters, Mrs. William Lasso
of Bethlehem, and Dorothy, Marie and Catherine, at home; 28 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, at 3 p.m., in the Steyers
Funeral Home, 500 Linden ST. The Rev. William Heffner will officiate
and burial will be in Bethlehem Memorial Park.
