Carl T. Raub Sr., 81, of 1460 Tatamy Road, Palmer Township,
died Thursday in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of Madeline Jane (Woolf) Raub. They were
married 53 years in April.
Raub was a self-employed farmer, having owned the Chesterfield
Farms in Palmer Township. At one time he was owner-operator
of Bushkill Center Hotel, Bushkill Township, and owner of Chesterfield
Manor Restaurant, Palmer Township.
Born in Huntington, N.J., he was a son of the late Anderson
and Catherine (Piatt) Raub.
He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Greenwich Township,
N.J.
Survivors: Wife; sons, **** of Salisbury Township and
*****. of Palmer Township; daughter, *****,
and a brother John, both of Palmer Township; sisters, Verna
Pfenning of Palmer Township and Helen Slhata of Bethlehem;
10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
