Charles A. "Chuggy" Riehl Jr., 74, of 236 Palmer
St., Easton, died Wednesday in Easton Hospital. He was the
husband of Clara (Snyder) Riehl. They observed their 54th wedding
anniversary in August.
Riehl worked in the Cameron Pump Division of Ingersoll Rand
Co., Phillipsburg, before retiring in 1976 after 19 years of
service.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Charles A. Sr. and
Mary (Garis) Riehl.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Easton.
Riehl served with the Navy during World War II.
Surviving with his widow are three sons, Richard A. of Phillipsburg,
Robert C. of Pasadena, Calif., and Bruce A. of Easton; a sister
Elizabeth of Easton and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Strunk Funeral Home,
Berwick and Reynolds streets, Easton. A calling hour will precede
the services.
