According to Ruth Bailey Allen book on John George Ruth. Your John Ruth was born 27 Dec 1773 , bpt 2 Apr 1774, sponsors were John & Anna Maria
Klinker. Springfield Church records. He married Elizabeth Mann, dau of John Mann 17 Oct, 1797. John served in the war of 1812 as a substitute for Thomas McRoy
in Capt Samuel Wilson Company of Bucks Co, Militia. It says John supposedly built the Black Horse Tavern two and one half miles south of Easton. John was the son of John George Ruth Jr & Christina Ruth nee ??? No death dates given in book

According to Alfred Patton Davidson, Sarah Ruth appears in the Mortality Census of 1850.
