Carl O. Sampson, Ex-I-R Machinist
Carl O. Sampson, 64, formerly of 412 Center St., died yesterday in Gracedale where he was a guest 14 years.
Born Dec 4, 1902 in Cedarville, Williams Township, he was a son of the late William and Mame Maddock Sampson.
He had been employed as a machinist with Ingersoll-Rand Co. and Taylor Wharton Co. and last worked in the Easton YMCA office.
He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ.
His wife, the former Edith Me Clayton died in July 1966.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Elmer Myers, Easton; a brother, Harold, Fountain Valley, Calif., and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton. |
