George Sampson. 84, Ex-Kayser Office Manager
George B. Sampson, 84, of 502 N. Marian St., Ebensburg, pa., a native of Easton, died Monday in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, Pa.
Born June 28, 1885, he was a son of the late Edward and Sallie Kalbfug Sampson.
Mr. Sampson retired in 1950 as office manager of the Kayser Hosiery Co. in Bangor.
He was a past master of Bangor Lodge 565, F&AM, and a member of First United Church of Christ. Ebensburg.
Survivors include his widow, the former Effie Vandergrift; two daughters, Mrs. Kathryn Rodgers, Ebensburg, and Mrs. Ruth Zimmerman, Greensburg, and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the John W. Askew Funeral Home, 3030 N. Julian St., Ebensburg. Interment will be in Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. |
