Frank D. Schippers Sr
Frank D. “Dave” Schipper Sr., 53, of 365 Morvale Road, Williams Township, died Monday in Easton Hospital after a brief illness.

He was a carpenter for many years, last working for Fred Breuer Plumbing and Heating, Easton. He previously worked as a carpenter for H. E. Stoudt, Blue Ridge Construction Co., and Frank Davis. Co.

Born in Williams Township, on Nov. 1, 1927, he was a son of the Mrs. Edith Coken Schippers Vetter, Phillipsburg, and the late William R. Schippers.

Mr. Schippers was a member of St. john’s Lutheran Church, Williams Township, and Lehigh Valley Carpenters Local No. 500, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, the former Jessie Cann; a son, ***** of Williams Township; six daughters, Misses *****. and *****, both at home; *****, **** and *****, all of Williams Township, and *****, West Easton; four brothers, Harry, William and Jack, all of Williams Township and Richard of Martins Creek; three sisters, Mrs. Lyida Lowe, Macungie; *****, Nazareth, and *****, Williams Township, and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Williams Township. Interment will be in New Williams Cemetery. The Ashton Funeral Home, Easton, is in charge of Arrangements.
