Mrs. Elizabeth Kemmerer
Mrs. Elizabeth Kemmerer, widow of William Kemmerer, died at 9 o’clock this morning at the home of daughter, Mrs. Fred Vollmer, 106 South Third Street, of Infirmities incident of old age, after an illness of six months. She was 91 years of age on October 21.

Mrs. Kemmerer was born in Forks Township and was a daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. William Schug. Her husband died 17 years ago. The following children survive here, Peter Kemmerer, Wilson A. Kemmerer, Van C. Kemmerer, Mrs. Joseph Laub and Mrs. Fred Vollmer, all of Easton. The late Mrs. Harry Purdy, of south Fourteenth Street, who died three months ago, was a daughter of the deceased. She also leaves one brother Alphenus Schug, of Forks township.

For about 45 years Mrs. Kemmerrer had resided in Easton and she had many friends here. For 14 years she lived with her son, Van Kemmerer and for the past year had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Vollmer. She was a member of Grace Reformed Church, College Hill.
