Mrs. Emma Seifert Brotzman. 69, wife of Monroe Brotzman, of Island Park, Easton R. D. 6, died at 8:30 last evening at her home, of paralysis. She was taken suddenly ill while shopping in Easton. She was removed to her home and following another attack last evening, she passed away.
Mrs. Brotzman was born in Lower Saucon Township, a daughter of the late Levi and Emma Seifert. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Della May Illick, wife of Dr. Joseph Illick, of Syracuse, N. Y., Two children preceded her in death. She also leaves one brother, Furman Seifert, of Morgan's Hill, and three sisters: Mrs. Irvin P. Richards and Mrs. Irvin Steckel, of Berwick Street, South Side, and Mrs. Helen Sutton, of this city. Ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Brotzman was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township, and had many friends in this vicinity, particularly in Williams Township, where she spent most of her life. Had she lived until next month, she and her husband would have celebrated the 61st anniversary of their marriage. |
