Mrs. Bessie H. Pfister, 98, formerly of 1340 Industrial Drive, Glendon,
died Saturday in Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the wife
of the late Valentine C. Pfister.
Born in Williams Township, she was a daughter of the late Harry E.
and Carrie (Hineline) Smock.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Williams Township.
Survivors: Sons, Valentine C., with whom she formerly resided, and
*****. and *****., both of Williams Township; daughters, Dorothy
Brotzman of Wilson, Frances Lee and Carrie Myer, both of Easton, Eva
Kichline of Williams Township and ***** of Forks Township;
20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughters, Marjorie Brotzman and Virginia Riddle.
Services: 2 p.m. tomorrow, Strunk Funeral Home, Berwick Street at
