Charles `Ed' Snyder

Charles "Ed" Snyder, 88, of Westminster Village, Allentown, died Friday, May 16, in Muhlenberg Hospital Center. He was the husband of Beatrice (Pursell) Snyder.
A graduate of Lafayete College and Harvard Business School, he worked for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 40 years before retiring in 1974.
Born in Martins Creek, he was a son of the late Charles and Jenny (Gulick) Snyder.
He was a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem.
Active in various educational, community and church activities, he was a trustee emeritus of Lafayette College and trustee of the Bethlehem YMCA.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, *****, wife of ***** of Crofton, Md., and two grandchildren.
Memorial services: 3 p.m. Monday in the atrium of Westminster Village. No calling hours. Arrangements, Pearson Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
