Mrs. G. Melvin Rice
Mrs. Bertha Rice, 81, formerly of Delaware, N.J., died yesterday in Warren haven, Oxford, R.D.
Born in Hazen, N.J. she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Barbara Anne Cowell Spangenberg.
She was a member of united Presbyterian church, Delaware.
Her husband, G. Melvin Rice, died before her.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Blanche Shoemaker and a brother, Joseph Spangenberg, both of Delaware R.D., and a grandson. A daughter, Mrs. Marion E. Pfaff, died in1973.
Graveside services were held today in the Hazen Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere.
