Mrs. George Smith
Mrs. Georgene V. Smith, 67, of 2132 Freemansburg Ave., Wilson, died yesterday in Northampton convalescent Center, where she was a guest for a month.

She was employed by the former Chipman Knitting Mills, West Easton, and was last employed in the drapery department of the former Laubach's Department Store, Easton.

Born in Phillipsburg on March 29, 1912, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Sophie Hofschild Steckel.

Surviving are her husband, George Smith; a son, a sister; Mrs. Etta Pidale, Wilson; three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton, Interment will be in South Easton Cemetery
