Mrs. Allen Dunbar, Resident of Wilson
Mrs. Helen Steckel Dunbar, 55 of 2415 Victor St., Wilson, died
this morning in Easton Hospital.
Mrs. Dunbar was the widow of Allen M. Dunbar who died Jan
8, 1967. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Charles
Walter Steckel and Sophia Caroline Hoffchild Steckel.
Mrs. Dunbar was employed as a leak test operator by the Dixie
Cup Divison of the American Can Co. until her illness about
a year ago.
She was a member of Easton Chapter, Order of Eastern Star;
Siloam Shrine 13, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Memorial
United Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard and Dale, both at home,
and two sisters, Mrs. Etta Pidale, and Mrs. Georgene Smith,
both of Wilson.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Shillinger
Funeral Home, Easton. |
