Mrs. Jennie Custer
Mrs. Jennie B. Custer, 64, of 228 N. Howard St., died at the
Allentown Hospital Saturday morning where she had been admitted
as a medical patient on Sept. 27.
Born in Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Frantz
and Lille (Knerr) Steckel. She had resided in Allentown for
three years.
She was a member of the Salvation Army; its Home league and
Golden Age club.
Surviving are a husband, Clarence H. Custer, a step-son, Fred
Custer, Winchester, Va.; two brothers, Robert Steckel, Allentown;
William Steckel, Fogelsville; two sisters, Mabel, wife of Harry
Parks, and Belva, wife of Asher Able, both of Allentown and
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday from the
Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. |
