Watson Street, Palmer Township, died Monday in Easton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter W. Matchette. She worked in the accounting department and as a guardian officer for Allentown State Hospital, retiring in 1984. Before that she was employed by J.T. Baker Chemical Co., Phillipsburg. Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Marguerite (Miller) Steckel. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Easton. Survivors: Son, Richard H. of Bethlehem, and two grandsons. Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. Call 1-2 p.m. Thursday.
