Gertrude Harrison, Bowleros Member
Gertrude E. Harrison, 70, of Ravencroft Apartments, Phillipsburg, died Sunday, April 30, in Warren Hospital.
She was a homemaker.
Born May 15, 1929, in Wilson, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Katherine Wolf Stem. She resided in Phillipsburg since 1994. Before that, she resided in Pohatcong Township for 45 years.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was a member of the Riegelsville, Pa., Fire Co. Auxiliary and the Hunterdon Volunteer Fire Co.
She was an avid bowler and member of the Bowleros at Warren Lanes in Phillipsburg and other area bowling leagues.
She was an avid bingo player.
Her husband, John D. Sr., died in 1994.
She is survived by a son,***** of Forks Township; a daughter, **** of Lower Nazareth Township; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Three brothers, Robert, Raymond J. and Richard, died earlier.
Services will be held at 11 .a.m. Friday in the Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial Parkway, Phillipsburg. Call from 10 a.m. Friday to time of services in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township. |
