Albert R. Stocker
Albert R. Stocker, 318 N. 14th St., a resident of Allentown
75 years died of a heart condition at 9:20 p.m. Thursday at
his home. He had been ailing five years, but the heart attack
early Thursday night unexpectedly caused his death.
Retried for a number of years, Stocker made a career of the
furniture finishing trade, conducting his own business at his
home. He was born in Williams Township, Northampton County,
a son of the late George and Diana (Leh) Stocker. He held membership
in Salem Reformed Church.
He is survived by his wife, Emma M. nee Fuerich, Stocker,
and the following children: Corrine, wife of George Newhard,
Coral Gables, Fla.; Effie, wife of Charles Dell; Edna, wife
of John Weiss, Madeline, wife of William Dries, Charlotte,
wife of Harry Dell, all of this city; Pauline, Wilbur, Donald,
at home. There are 12 grandchildren.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Richard Winters at the
J. S. Burkholder funeral home, 1601 Hamilton St., on Monday
at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be made in Allentown cemetery. |
