Herman H. Stocker
Herman H. Stocker a highly respected resident of this city for the past half century, died at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home, 417 1/2 North Hall street of a complication of ailments. Mr. Stocker had been in failing health for the past few years and was taken serious ill two weeks ago. He had observed his 79th birthday anniversary Thursday a week ago.

Born in Easton, a son of George and Diane, nee Leh Stocker, he had been engaged for a number of years in the cement contracting business. Later, for a period of several years, he served as sexton of St. Luke's Lutheran church. He had lived retried for the past five years. Mr. Stocker was of the Reformed faith,. His wife Sarah, nee Harrison, Stocker preceded him in death by fourteen years.

Among his surviving relatives are four daughters, Mrs. Edwin Sicher, Mrs. Diane Nagle, Mrs. Irene Gross and Mrs. Irwin Walters; four sons, Harry A., George M., Charles H. and Oliver A., together with five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Oliver Fritzinger and Mrs. Justine Morgan, and one brother, Albert Stocker all of this city.

Funeral services will be held at his late home on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. Rev William L. Bats Officiating.
