Marion E. Dervinis
Marion E.Dervinis, 84, of Wayne pa., died Sunday, February 12, 2006 in Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Born: On February 11, 1922 in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Minnie Kraemer Stocker.
Personal: She and her husband, Alphonse, were marred for 57 years.
Marion had been a school librarian in various libraries including the Mt. Penn high School Library in Reading for many years. She graduated from Easton high School in1939. Ursinus college in 1943, and received her degree in Library Science from Drexel University in 1944.
Memberships: She was a member of the Easton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and AAUW. She loved to play flute and was active in amateur symphony orchestras.
Survivors: In addition to her husband, Alphonse, she is survived by a son, **** of Wayne, pa; a daughter, ***** and her husband *****of Chester Springs, Pa.; and a great-grandson.
Services: Will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th & Northampton Sts., Easton. Call on Saturday one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will be private at Trinity United church of Christ Cemetery, Collegeville. |
