Irene M. Howell, 64, of Washington, N.J., died Wednesday in her home. She was the wife of Robert Howell.

She was employed by J.C. Co., Bound Brook, N.J., working for the last 26 years in the cafeteria at Warren Hills Senior High School.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Viola (Steckel) Tausch.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Washington.

Survivors: Husband; sons, and six grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday.
