Eleanor Helme, 70, of Easton, died Saturday, Nov. 25, in her
home. She was the wife of Francis "Frank" Helme.
They were married for 40 years last May.
She was a secretary for the former Shapiro and Sons, Easton,
and previously for the former Fry Machine Shop, Easton.
Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Ruth
(Berry) Transue.
She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Easton,
where she was a member of the Remnant Handmaids of Mary, the
Council of Catholic Women and the Family Apostate. She also
served as an Eucharistic minister.
Survivors: Husband; son, **** of Emmaus; sisters, ***** of
Phillipsburg, ***** of Fogelsville; brothers, *****
of Brainards, N.J., ***** of Charlottesville, N.J.
Services: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Morello Funeral Home, 12th and
Lehigh streets, Easton. Mass, 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church.
Call after 7 p.m. Monday.
