Mildred E. Gerhart, 97, formerly of Wilson Borough, died Sunday,
January 16, 2005, in Gracedale.
Born: May 28, 1907, in Easton,
a daughter of the late Isaac and Ida Starr Transue. Personal:
Her husband, Stanley L., died in 1974. She had been employed
by Magnetic Windings and Sobel Metal Products. She was also
a Wilson Borough Crossing Guard before retiring.
Memberships:
She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church,
Bethlehem Township, Pa.
Survivors: a son, Robert E. Sweitzer
and his wife, Elaine, of Wilson Borough; a daughter, Barbara
Morrow and her husband, Kenneth, of Williams Township; grandchildren;
great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:30
a.m. Wednesday in the Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton
Sts., Easton. Call 10 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery.
