Mrs. Lewis E. Graver, 73, Forks Assessor
Mrs. Jennie A. Graver, 73, a lifelong resident of Forks Township
who served as a Democratic Committeewoman in the township for
many years, died Saturday night at her home, Easton R.D1, Mrs.
Graver, the widow of Lewis G. Graver, had been ill several
months.
Born in Palmer Township, Jan 30, 1876, she was a daughter
of the late Reuben and Mary Snyder Uhler. She was a member
of Forks Salem Evangelical Reformed Church, In addition to
serving as committeewoman, Mrs. Graver assumed the post of
township assessor, on the death of her husband in June 1929.
A daughter, Miss Hilda Graver, at home, survives. There also
are several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in the residence.
Further services will be held in Forks Salem Church at 2:15
p.m. with the Rev. Floyd R. Shafer, D.D. officiating. Interment
will be in forks cemetery, Forks Township.
