Ralph Van Buskirk, Ex-Monroe Official
Ralph D. Van Buskirk, 70, Saylorsburg, died last night in Monroe
county General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Saylorsburg, he was a son of Annettie Green Van Buskirk,
Saylorsburg, and the late Peter C. Van Buskirk.
He was the husband of the former Mary Mengle.
Mr. Van Buskirk was former Monroe County sealer of weights
and measures. He was Democratic committeeman in Ross Township,
and was former real estate disposition chief for the Monroe
County Redevelopment Authority.
He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows,
Fort Penn Lodge, Stroudsburg; the POS of A., Saylorsburg; Mount
Easton United Church of Christ, Saylorsburg, and the Official
church council.
He operated a farm in Ross Township for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, ****, Danielson,
Conn., and ****, Lebanon, N.J. and three grandchildren
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Kresge
Funeral Home, Brodheadsville. |
