Howard V. VanNatta, 77, Organist in Churches
Howard V. VanNatta, 77, of 2118 Butler St.; Wilson, died yesterday in Easton Hospital where he was admitted June 30. Born in Sandt’s Eddy June 21 1893, he was a son of the late William F. and Corda M. Fox VanNatta.
Mr. VanNatta was employed in the billing department of Bethlehem Steel Corp. many years, retiring in 1961.
He attended Easton Academy and churchman Business College. For many years he taught piano and played piano in local orchestras. He also was organist in church in Easton and Wilson.
He was a member of First United Church of Christ, a trustee of the Thomas Rinek Fund of the church, a charter member of the MORA Club, Easton, and a member of the Northampton County Motor Club.
His only survivor is his widow, Martha weaver VanNatta.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Shillinger Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Martin’s Creek Cemetery.
