Mrs. Catherine Price
Mrs. Catherine Price, widow of the late John Price, a well-known
and respected resident, died about 8 o’clock last evening
at the residence of her son, Irwin Price, of Coal Street. Deceased
was in the 76th year of her age and death was caused by typhoid
pneumonia, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Price is survived by six children, as follows, Irvin,
Harry and Samuel Price, and Mrs. Howard Miers and Mrs. Frank
Shuler, of this city, and John Price, of New Orleans. Four
brothers also survive, as follows: Samuel, Daniel, Joseph and
John Vogel, all of this city. Deceased was a member of St.
Paul’s Lutheran Church.
