Raube Walters, Retired Author, Newspaperman
Raube Walters, 59, of 470 W. 24th St., New York City, retired author and newspaperman, died Monday at his home.

Born in Raubsville, he was a son of the late Jacob and Emma Seifert Walters. He moved from Easton to New York City in 1923. He lived in New York City permanently the last 10 years.

Mr. Walters authored a novel about the Pennsylvania Dutch entitled "Hex Woman" which was published in 1931.

He worked for the Free Press in Easton, the Allentown Morning call and other newspapers from coast to coast. He was at one time assistant literary critic on the Boston Evening Transcript.

Surviving is a brother David, of Nazareth.

Funeral services were held yesterday in New York City, Cremation followed.
