Augustus Wetzel
Augustus Wetzel, son of Mrs. Catharine and the late Barney Wetzel, of Newlin's Crossing, died on Tuesday at the home of his sister at Bustleton, Philadelphia, from tuberculosis. He was 48 years of age.
Mr. Wetzel had been at a Philadelphia hospital for treatment and from there went to the home of his sister. He is survived by one daughter, Ellen; his mother, Mrs. Catharine Wetzel, of near Newlin's Crossing, and by two brothers and five sisters; Isaac Wetzel, of Butztown; John Wetzel, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Edward Casey, of Philadelphia; Mrs. William Leonard, Allentown; Mrs. Charles Peterson, Philadelphia; Mrs. Floyd Fox, of Rittersville; Miss Lizzie Wetzel, living at home.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. from the home of his mother, Mrs. Catharine Wetzel. Interment will be made in Arndt's cemetery. |
