Elmer L. Wieder
Elmer L. Wieder, 30 years old, a clerk at the Easton post office for the past three years, died at 2:50 o’clock yesterday afternoon at Dr. Betts’ Hospital where he had been a patient since June 26. He first entered the hospital on June 2 to undergo an operation for appendicitis from which he apparently recovered and returned to his home and then he developed other ailments. He was a native of Finesville, N.J., and had resided in this city for the past three years.

He is survived by his wife, Esther C. Miller Wider, an infant son, ****, both of 474 Berwick Street, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Wieder, of Finesville, and a sister, Mrs. Susan Hager, of Carpentersville. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran church, of Riegelsville, the Phillipsburg High School Alumni Association, being a graduate of that school with the class of 1916, Musconetcong Tribe, No. 205,mp, O. R. M., the Haymaker’s Association; Climax Council, Jr. O. U. A. M. of Finesville; Pride of Malaska Council, Sons, and Daughters of Liberty, of Phillipsburg, and the Postal clerks’ Association.
