Florence Creveling, 88, Owned beauty shop
Florence M. Creveling, 88, of 209 Paxinosa Road East, Forks
township, died Wednesday in Easton Hosptial. She was in failing
health the last year.
She was owner and operator of Florence's Beauty Shop at 17th
Street and Washington Boulevard, Wilson, from the mid-1930's
to the late 1940's, when she retired.
Born March 10, 1894, in Carpentersville, N.J., she was a duaghter
of the late John E. and Catharine Wilhelm.
Mrs. Creveling was a former member of the Easton YWCA and
the women's club of the YWCA.
She and her husband, Frank E. Creveling Sr., would have celebrated
their 68th wedding anniversary in June.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Frank E.,
Jr. of Beach Haven, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Kathryn Leinhart,
Zurich, Switzerland, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Ashton Funerla
Home, Easton. Interment will be in Raubsville Cemetery. |
