Lewis A. Williamson, 80, Retired Teacher
Lewis A. Williamson, 80, a teacher in Allentown schools for 41 years before his retirement 15 years ago, died last night in Allentown Hospital. He had been a patient there for two weeks. Mr. Williamson lived at 1324 Linden Street, Allentown.
Before coming to Allentown about 48 years ago, he taught school in Iron Bridge and Bethlehem. In Allentown, he was principal of the Franklin school for 25 years. He was a member of the Reformed congregation of Moorestown Union Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Heinick; two grandsons, a sister, Mrs. Andrew J. Smith, of Moorestown; a brother, Victor, of Nazareth, and several nephews and nieces. His wife the former Aquila Michael died in 1945 and a son Paul, died 38 years ago. |
