Mrs. Ella A. Powell
Mrs. Ella A. Powell, 65, widow of Charles T. Powell, died yesterday in the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. L. I. Iobst, Kintnersville R. 1. She was a former resident of Bethlehem and Reading.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah Kichline Woodring.
She was a member of Second United Church of Christ, Reading, a nd a former member of Christ United Church of Christ, Bethlehem, where she was a soloist. She also was a member of Bethlehem Chapter, DAR; Calypso Chapter, Order of Eastern Star; Wyomising Fine Arts Club, Reading and the American Red Cross Auxiliary, Reading.
Besides Mrs. Iobst, she is survived by two grandchildren, and a brother, Earl W. Woodring, Bethlehem.
Private services at the convenience of the family Saturday in the Snyder Funeral Home, 526 in the Snyder Funeral Home, 526 Center St., Bethlehem. |
