Miss Mattie M. Woodring
Miss Mattie M. Woodring, 21, S. Main St., Nazareth, died yesterday in St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill, where she was admitted Tuesday.
Born April 21, 1888 in Bushkill Township, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Catherine Jones.
She was a member of the Silver Cross king’s Daughters of the Nazareth Moravian Church. She was a past matron of the order of Eastern Star. Nazareth.
She had been a secretary for the Nazareth Framers Mutual for 37 years at the Murphy Five and Ten Store, Nazareth, before retiring 12 years ago.
Survivors include a sister, Miss Frances Woodring, Bethlehem.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Nazareth Moravian Chapel. Bartholomew Funeral home, Nazareth, is in charge of arrangements. |
