William Woodring
William Woodring, a well known residence of this city, died at 9o’clock Sunday morning at his home, No. 1219 Ferry street, of a complication of ailments, aged 71 years. He was born in this county on May 2, 1853, and was a son of the late George W and Miss Sarah Ann Rodenbach Woodring. Three months ago the he underwent an operation at the Easton Hospital and never fully recovered from the effects.

Practically all his life he spent in Easton for 25 years he was in the employ of Frank Dull, the grocer at Third and Ferry streets. After Mr. Dull retired from the business, deceased became caretaker at the Easton Home for Aged and Infirm Women, 1022 Northampton street. His wife died 14 years ago.

Mr. Woodring is survived by two sons, Clyde D Woodring, of Endicott, New York, and William S Woodring, of Allentown, and two daughters, Mrs. Bertha W Heaver and Miss Flossie B Woodring, of this city. He also leaves one brother, George Woodring of Nazareth, and one sister, Mrs. Jacob Walters, of Easton. He was a member of the First Reformed Church.
