Mrs. Elizabeth Y. Gold
Mrs. Elizabeth Young Gold, 92 years old, second oldest resident of Pen Argyl and widow of Richard Gold, died today at her home, 101 Westbrook avenue, Pen Argyl.
She was a daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth Young and was born at Factoryville, Washington Township. She had resided in Pen Argyl for the last 55 years. She was the last member of her family. She was a member of Zion Methodist Church, Pen Argyl.
She is survived by three children: Mrs. Reuben Harding, of Pen Argyl; Dr. Charles E. Gold, Bangor, and Floyd C. gold, of Ackermanville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Pullis funeral home, 126 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, in charge of the Rev. W. B. Smith, and interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Pen Argyl. |
