Lewis Young
Lewis Young, 80 years old of 3 Plainfield Avenue, Pen Argyl, died last night in Dr. Brumbaugh’s Hospital, pen Argyl, where he had been a patient for two weeks. He was a native of Washington Township, son of the late William and Sally Fox Young., and had resided in Pen Argyle for 50 years. He was a mason by trade, and retired 14 years ago.
He was a charter member of Bethany Evangelical church, Pen Argyl and was a member of the official board and was a past treasurer.
He is survived by three children; Mrs. Joseph H. Trengo, Wharton, N.J; Albert L. Young, Washington D. C. and Mrs. John Allen, Pen Argyl, with whom he resided and by five grandchildren. He was the last member of his family.
Funeral services will be held at the Pullis funeral Home, 126 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, on Thursday at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. E.E. Messersmith, and interment will be in St. John’s cemetery, Bangor.
