Margaret M. Smith, 76, of Nazareth, passed away Monday,
Oct. 17, in Easton Hospital. Born August 22, 1929, in Easton,
she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Lulu (Messinger)
Young. She worked for Binney and Smith for 40 years before
retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Peters United Church
of Christ, Tatamy, where she was active in the womens guild.
She was a member of the 25 and 40 year clubs of Binney and
Smith. Her husband, Roy D.J. Smith, died Nov. 25, 2004.
Survivors: Daughters, Linds Brodsky and husband Charles
of Phoenix, Ariz., Gloria Fries and husband David of Nazareth,
Donna Brown and husband William of Bethlehem Township; son,
Alan Smith and wife Pamela of Bangor; grandchildren, great-grandchildren;
nieces, nephews.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, Schmidt Funeral Home,
407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial,
Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. |
