Gangewere Funeral To Be Held Wednesday
Funeral services for Benjamin F. Gangewere, of Easton R. D. 2, show died S aturday in the Osteopathic Hospital, Allentown, will be held Wednesd ay at 2 p.m. in the Templeton Funeral home, 326 Main Street, Hellertown, w ith the Rev. Byron R. Stauffer, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiat ing. Interment will be in New Jerusalem cemetery.

He served on the Northampton County prison board for a number of years, a nd was Democratic committeeman of the Leithsville district of Lower Sauc on Township. He also served on the board of school directors in Lower Sauc on Township, and was superintendent of the New Jerusalem cemetery for 25 y ears. He was a miller and a mill stone dresser by trade.

Born in Spring Valley, May 19, 1864, he was a son of the late Matilda Eise nhart Beck. He was affiliated with Hobah Lodge No. 267, Kingths of Pythia s, Bethlehem; the K. of G. E., No. 159, of Center Valley, and was treasur er of the Hellertown Lions Club for 14 years.

Besides his wife, Mrs. Mary Boyer Gangewere, he is survived by two daughte rs, Mrs. James Rau, of Palmer Township and Mrs. Harold E. Mangan, at home.
