Killed by a Fall From a Wagon
Joseph Illick, residing near Schoenersville, father of Illick Brothers of Peter's Mil, and father-in-law of Josiah Schweitzer of Bethlehem, was killed by a fall from a wagon at Catasauqua, yesterday. His neck was broken. There are a number of conflicting stories as to the manner of the death of Mr. Illick, one being to the effect that the wagon on which he was seated was loaded with lath, and came in collison with another wagon, throwing a bundle of lath on his back, breaking his neck. The accident is very melancholy one, and is a great shock to the community in which deceased dwelt, where he was highly respected.
