D. A. Fluck, who was seriously ill of heart trouble for several weeks, di ed on Wednesday morning early, aged about 70 years, at his home on Main St reet, Richlandtown. He is survived by his wife, nee Frankenfield. No chi ldren were born to them. One sisters, Mrs. Schied; also one brother, Willi am, of Allentown, survive. Mr. Fluck was identified with the history of Ri chlandtown in many ways, long as a manufacturer of fine shoes, and after t he burning of the factory he rebuilt it and was instrumental in getti ng a cigar factory. Later he was responsible in getting the Eisenlohr Brot hers to locate there and from him they lease the factory. The deceased w as also a director of the public schools for many years and a member of t he Reformed church consistory. Funeral services will be held today conduc ted by Rev. J. N. Faust. Interment in the Springfield Cemetery. |
